Scindapsus treubii ‘Moonlight’ is a striking and relatively rare houseplant prized for its thick, heart-shaped leaves with an elegant silvery sheen. Often referred to as the Moonlight Pothos, this unusual trailing plant belongs to the Scindapsus family and is closely related to the popular Satin Pothos.
The foliage has a beautiful metallic glow which gives the plant its “moonlight” appearance. With its sculptural leaves and compact growth habit, Scindapsus treubii makes a sophisticated addition to shelves, plant stands or trailing from a hanging pot. It can also be trained to climb a moss pole for larger, more dramatic foliage.
This plant is known for being easy to care for and adaptable to a variety of indoor environments. While it tolerates lower light levels, it will grow best in bright to medium indirect light. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings and feed during the growing season to encourage healthy growth.
Like many tropical houseplants, Scindapsus varieties are also valued for their air-purifying qualities, helping to improve indoor environments while adding a touch of natural beauty.
